Sustainability

As a company, we see it as our responsibility not only to develop high-quality products for our customers, but also to make a contribution to sustainability through our work. At EIBENSTOCK, we see sustainability at various levels.

Durability - our products are robust and durable. They are designed to be used for many years without any loss of quality. If something does break, we have our own repair department. Our products are repaired instead of being disposed of. This means you benefit from long-lasting products and we produce less waste.

Thanks to our spare parts service, we can also guarantee the repair of our machines for at least 10 years. Once a machine has been set up, there is a spare parts service for 10 years, so it can be repaired even after a long time and does not have to be disposed of.

Our power tools are manufactured using state-of-the-art production machines. These are more economical in terms of energy consumption and work faster than older models. This keeps our overall energy consumption to the necessary minimum.

In our company itself, the entire lighting has been converted to LED in order to save energy. We also produce our own electricity through our photovoltaic system. We have a total of 536 modules with 220 Wp. Our heat pump allows us to heat in an environmentally friendly way if necessary.

We keep our delivery routes as short as possible. Many of our suppliers are located in the immediate vicinity, e.g. in neighbouring towns. As a result, we also have fewer emissions thanks to short delivery routes. Above all, however, our high level of vertical integration saves us a large proportion of long journeys and journeys to suppliers, as we are able to produce 80% of our parts ourselves.

Our packaging is currently being converted from plastic to paper and cardboard.

Last but not least, every one of our employees has the option of applying for a company bike lease from us. This enables our employees to get to work emission-free.

Each individual employee and our company as a whole contribute to sustainability in many different ways.
